San Agustín has a variety of wild birds that surround La Estancia, allowing you to take the best pictures in a charming place.

In 1980 we formally started the breeding of Peruvian Paso horses in our ONA LEKU hatchery (Good place, in Basque) in San Agustín.

The Estancia has 300 m2 of common areas distributed in living rooms, library and a park of approximately 20,000 m2.
The days we spent in this room were excellent !! The old house is typical of the area, and unique! Peruvian horses are spectacular and the food super.
The stay of Carlos and La Negra was simply amazing, we felt at home and had a great day there, so we canceled our last night in Argentina to go back for another night. The place is very relaxing and quiet.
The house, the host and the food were absolutely amazing! If you are looking for a true «Argentine experience» then this will surely be. Staying in this room was one of the most interesting moments of my trip, and I definitely recommend it

There is also a very good library with books of well-known Latinamerican and Argentine authors.
There are some interesting paintings of well-known local painters as well.
The estancia is strategically positioned for visiting the surroundings of Salta. It is 25 Km. from Salta City and 25 Km. from the airport. From the estancia, you can visit the Valley of Lerma, Villa San Lorenzo, Cabra Corral Dam and Salta City. You can also make excursions and one-day trips to Quebrada de Humahuaca, Quebrada del Toro and the Calchaquí Valleys.
Visiting the different villages in the Lerma Valley: Cerrillos, La Merced, El Carril y Chicoana.
Visiting the centre and historical part of the town: Cathedral, Town Hall, San Francisco Church, Museum of High Altitude Archaeology, Contemporary Art Museum, among others.
Walk through San Lorenzo, a verianie village surrounded by country houses and tea houses to enjoy an afternoon.
One of the largest dikes of the NOA, a true mirror of water for lovers of fishing or walking along the roads that surround it.
